Happy Free Pattern Friday!

Hey out there in internet-land, it’s Friday. You know what that means? Cutting out of work a tad early, grabbing a beverage and knitting and Netflix time! It just so happens that my birthday is next week.  I’m taking Monday and Tuesday off of work which means I get a 4 day weekend. So in an extra special birthday edition of FPF, also the first of what I hope will be many FPFs, I give you the free patterns of Wendy D. Johnson. Wendy, also know as WendyKnits literally wrote the book on toe up socks. Well, two books to be precise. I’m lucky enough to have both of them on my bookshelf and they are magnificent. In general, Wendy creates well written easy to understand patterns. So when I was browsing Ravelry looking for something to post for FPF and found one of hers, I knew that was the way to go. So I clicked on the link to check out the pattern and discovered it lead to a page on her website that was just a big ole list of free patterns. Score! We’ve hit the motherload.

So there it is, nice list of free patterns for you to sink your teeth into this weekend. If I hadn’t JUST cast on for skew (why yes I really do need another pair of socks on the needles, why do you ask?) I would be casting on for those seaweed socks. So cute. That’s it for this week, let me know what your favorite WendyKnits pattern is down in the comments.
